Leaving Calgary on a sunny evening to meet John and Kate at Spray Lakes for their engagement session, it looked like it was going to be a beautiful evening, perfect time for late day light. Well by the time we made our way up the gravel road from Canmore, it was pouring rain. I mean the kind of rain you can see coming in sheets. I admire Kate and John for persevering and holding each other close through the rain and wind and doing what couples in love do - snuggle and keep close. Della, their dog made a darling appearing with her floral collar.
