A little smoke in that gorgeous view of this lovely couple who were married in Banff National park.
Last Valentine's Day I went on of the most exciting shoots of my career. I had been contacted by The Pretty Haus to see if I was interested in covering a proposal on top of a mountain by way of a helicopter ride with Rockies Heli Tours . So I posed as a member of their team and rode in a helicopter with beautiful couple Dean and Sonia, the latter who was completely unaware, and took photos as they explored then Dean got down on one snowshoe and I captured the moment! Thanks so much to How He Asked for featuring. Check out the full story from Sonia's perspective on this link
I am still not sure what to call these sessions. Cuddle sessions? In home Sessions? Typically I shoot on location outdoors with couples so this is a bit of a new thing for me. I have done a couple and I am excited to shoot more bookings! It can be for engagement, for an anniversary or just some fun portraits that maybe you are more comfortable taking in your home where you can be yourself and get cozy with your partner. Get in touch to book yours! I would love to hear from you!
From the moment I Skyped with Rachel, I knew I wanted to work with her and Kelly on their wedding day. I admired her sense of adventure, trekking from Colorado on a road trip with Banff as their destination for their wedding day. It rained. It rained hard. The only comment I heard was that the clouds looked so beautiful looming low over beautiful Moraine Lake. The wedding motif was the geode and you can see touches of it throughout the wedding, especially in the pretty details the reception at SilverTip Resort.
